The Quasar is the definitive 2 person mountain tent and regarded as the best in its class world-wide, having withstood some of the harshest conditions for over two decades. Simple and quick to pitch with colour coded poles and continuous pole sleeves. Superb inner tension prevents sagging and creating the largest usable space possible. Two entrances and porches allow sheltered access and plenty of space to store your gear.
The use of Watershed Endurance and Waterbloc fabrics enhance its capabilities and improve durability, to ensure that the Quasar maintains its position at the forefront of mountain tent technology.
Fabrics:
- Watershed Endurance (silicon/pu coated) flysheet fabric, with a minimum Hydrostatic Head of 8000mm
- The inner and groundsheet are Waterbloc 10,000mm made using ''High Tenacity Nylon 6.6'' which is proven to give:
- better UV resistance than standard synthetic materials
- better resistance to flex fatigue
- better tear and abrasion-resistance (up to 500\% better than polyester)
- better bonding to waterproof coatings
- better strength to weight ratio
- Terra Nova Reflex 7001 T6 aluminium alloy pole provide strength and durability.
