The ladies' Gel Trabuco 14 from Asics is their most performance-orientated edition of this trail classic.

A rugged outsole offers superb trail traction, while Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel cushioning eases shock during impact.

Dual density DuoMax enhances support and stability, and a Rock Protection Plate in the sole protects the foot while running over rocks or tree branches off road.

The Trail Specific Outsole features reversed lugs on the sole, which provide uphill and downhill traction on all types of terrain.

A Personal Heel Fit memory foam lining the heel collar and tongue creates a personalised fit around the ankle, and Solyte cushioning material provides an exceptionally lightweight midsole with excellent bounce-back and durability.

Also helping to reduce weight is Trusstic technology under the foot arch, which aids strength and stability, without loss of flexibility, and helps to control torsion.

A long-term favourite of off-road runners everywhere, the women's Gel Trabuco is especially suited to over pronators.
