Cool, clean and very adaptable, the Red Chili Durango Vcr climbing shoe is a great all-rounder, and by using a velcro entry it gives an excellent alternative to its lace-up twin.
Totally revamped, the Durango features wider, more supportive Vcr straps, which, by clamping the foot better, allow the firm platform below to be exploited to the max over a wide variety of styles.
Like the lace-up version, it has a broader toe and medium last, accepting a wide range of feet while still retaining an edge for more delicate and precise action.
A durable and solid all-rounder, the Durango is at home anywhere you are, and makes the perfect shoe for moving through the grades indoors, outdoors or bouldering.

Red Chili: How it all Began
The sheer joy of the rockface, two pairs of ill-fitting and uncomfortable climbing shoes and more than a few glasses of Spanish Rioja led to the birth of Red Chili.
Founding fathers Stefan Glowacz and Uwe Hofstaeder had reached the summit plateau of El Cap in the Californian Yoshmites, their painful, burning feet due to badly-fitting rock shoes.
Later, listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers over a sound system accompanied by several bottles of red wine, they had a vision - and the seeds were sown for what has become one of the leading climbing shoe manufacturers in the world.
Between them, Stefan - one of Europe's most successful-ever Alpinists, and Uwe - German importer of Wild Country climbing equipment - have created one of the biggest performance shoe brands on the planet, renowned for its practicality-meets-style cutting edge technology.
