With a broad last for comfort during protracted use, and supple uppers to keep your feet comfortable, the Scarpa Force excels at long stints at the gym, bouldering or less technical outdoor routes.
Velcro fastenings make it an easy shoe to get in and out of, with a close fit that both beginners and more seasoned climbers will appreciate.
The package is completed with a durable and sticky rubber, and makes the Scarpa Force a valuable tool for the entry to mid-grade climber - and a force to be reckoned with!

May the force be with you….the Scarpa Force, along with the Vantage and Thunder XS Edge, are specialised climbing shoes, a world away from the original heavy-soled mountaineering boots studded with metal cleats and hobnails and used by early pioneers of the sport.
During the 1930s and ‘40s, a new generation of climbers began to negotiate harder routes wearing canvas plimsolls, sometimes with woollen socks pulled tight on the outside in an effort to improve grip.
Climbing enthusiast Pierre Allain began experimenting with hard composite rubber-soled footwear in an effort to solve the problem; his ‘PA’ model was joined by the softer rubber ‘EB’ of fellow Frenchman Eduard Bourdineau, paving the way for climbers all over the world to indulge in their passion with greater ease.
Climbing shoes are designed to conform closely to the foot, with the downward-facing toe box increasing the ability to find a foothold.
As a result of the tight fit – especially with the more technical models – they can be very uncomfortable when first worn. Read our guide on how to fit climbing shoes here
