Since their invention over 30 years ago, climbing cams or camming devices have been improved and tweaked into a hugely popular fall protection device.
Most famous of the cams, of which Gear Zone are proud stockists, are probably the Wild Country Friends (or Technical Friends, a name now almost interchagneable with 'cams'), however DMM's 4CUs and their new Dragon Cams are also firm favourites among trad climbers.
