The Petzl Shunt is a back-up device/ascender, a mechanical replacement for self-jamming knots (Prusik, Machard, etc.)

When positioned below the descender, the Shunt can be used as a back-up to protect a descent on rappel.

Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in a new and unused condition within 30 days and we will issue a refund (excluding postage).

Returning an item

For your own protection we recommend that when returning goods to us you use a service with a proof of delivery, appropriately insured to cover the value of the contents. Unfortunately we cannot refund or exchange any goods not received.
