The Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 is one of the world's most trusted and respected mountaineering and expedition tents.
Extremely strong and stable, the new Atlas Scandium Xl poles, combined with geodesic pitching and tension shelves, create the ideal base camp for use in the foul weather and high winds found on the slopes of the world's most mountainous terrain.
A guaranteed watertight construction will keep contents dry when used at lower levels, and one poled vestibule offers a protected area for food prep or relaxation.
The other vestibule is smaller, and idea for storage, but with two entrances you can be sure to be able to ventilate the tent, or at least have one door out of the wind should it switch directions during the night.
Reflective zip-pulls, guy lines and internal storage pockets all help to cement the most recent version of the Trango as rightful successor to the classic range.
When used with the Pitch Light footprint - sold separately - the Trango 2 can be pitched with fly only, allowing for a superlight option.

Atlas Tent Poles
Atlas Tent Pole sets are stronger, lighter, more durable and easier to service than anything else around.
This innovative system uses the cold-forged Atlas floating connector to join two identical pole sections, eliminating the need for a swaged pole or fixed insert.
Most poles break at the insert or swage points - where pre-bent pole inserts meet straight pole sections. The Mountain Hardwear Atlas Tapered Floating Connector better distributes the stress throughout the pole, reducing the potential for failure.
