Newly updated to use Pertex Shield fabric, the latest incarnation of the classic Montane Atomic Jacket is continues to tick all the right boxes for a lightweight mountain walking or trekking jacket.

The new Pertex Shield fabric is waterproof, highly breathable and windproof to provide dependable weather protection, with a lightweight nylon face fabric giving toughness and durability that is impressive given Atomic's weight.

For those seeking a lightweight, multi-use hardshell for trekking, travel or mountain use, the Montane Atomic's predigree should only go from strength to strength.

PERTEX® Shield

  • 80g/m² 2.5 layer 40 denier 100% Nylon with microporous coating
  • Waterproof to a minimum of 10,000 hydrostatic head and with a minimum MVTR of 8,000g/m²/25hrs (JIS L 1099 A-1)
