The new Haglöfs Hub – a totally new standard in travel backpacks.

Developed without reference to the past, the pack has been designed for modern-day backpackers and with focus on optimum functionality.

The base is a self-standing, semi-rigid chassis allowing the Hub to be stood up or laid down without collapsing, even when empty, a feature that considerably simplifies both packing and unpacking.

Two large side openings make the pack easy to pack and unpack. Large stretch side-pockets are provided for e.g. water bottles. Other features include an outer transparent map pocket, inner mesh pockets and a large inside pocket for separating dirty washing, shoes etc from the rest of the pack contents. The bottom is made of heavy, very tough tarpaulin fabric.

The carry system, including the light frame made of 6005-T6 aluminium and the moulded back, provides Hub with excellent carrying properties.

A very practical 10 litre daypack has been discreetly integrated into the moulding. This is fastened beneath two wings, and these in turn can be used to fasten extra equipment when the daypack is disconnected.

As befits a travel backpack, a weather cover and a protective cover for the carry system are included.

Anti-theft protection has been an important consideration when developing Hub. The main pack has a closed design, with the daypack concealed beneath the large wings. The main accesses have zips with pull-tabs that are plainly visible and can be secured with padlocks.
