Wolverine

Wolverine started life supplying rugged footwear to the American construction industry, playing their part in U.S. history by manufacturing boots for workers involved in building roads and railways across the country.
From early beginnings in the 1880s, the company became the Wolverine Shoe and Tanning Corporation almost exactly 100 years ago, averaging 300 pairs of tough work boots every day. Today, they sell more than 37 million pairs of boots and shoes every year.
