Wilson

Wilson are famed throughout the world for their sporting glories. The company has been making history for close on 100 years, and is behind generations of successful athletes from tennis champions to American football and baseball pros.
Best known for their association with legendary grand slam winners past and present, including Jimmy Connors, Roger Federer, Chris Evert and the Williams sisters, Wilson’s renowned racquets include the Federer Pro and the Juice and Blade series.
Wilson is a Chicago-based firm which began life – rather incongruously – as a New York meat packing plant, which branched out into manufacturing to utilise slaughterhouse by-products from animals in tennis racket strings, violin strings and surgical sutures.
After World War Two their focus became firmly fixed on tennis, and today their championship-winning rackets and tennis balls are sold around the world, helping to generate over $300 million in revenue every year.
