Shock Absorber

Shock Absorber launched in 1995, designed for females everywhere and endorsed by Olympic gold medal hurdler Sally Gunnell.
Spurred on by technological research at Edinburgh University into the negative effects of exercise on a woman’s body, Shock Absorber clothing proved to be a break-through for sportswomen worldwide, with the first sports bra designed specifically for female runners.
Ground-breaking new research by the University of Portsmouth has led to the creation of Shock Absorber's sports-specific range, targeting not only lady athletes but also exponents of racket sports and ball sports – with specialised sports bras for women tailored to their own discipline.
Every Shock Absorber garment has been designed to maximise performance and reduce uncomfortable bounce, and features high moisture-management capabilities to sweep away perspiration before it has a chance to build up on the body.
