Reusch
Reusch was born in 1934 in a small workshop in Metzingen in Germany, with a vision to create innovative gloves of the highest quality.
In 1972 Reusch developed its first glove for the sports market. Shortly afterwards the first Reusch goalkeeping glove appeared, which proved such a revolution that over the last 40 years just about every major football championship has been won by the team whose ‘keeper wore Reusch goalkeeping gloves!
Karl Reusch sewed his first pair of gloves by hand in the attic of his home, and spent the next 40 years developing and perfecting his craft.
By the early 1970s he had met the needs of professional Alpine enthusiasts, and when his son Gebhard joined the company they began branching out into the world of sport in collaboration with German goalkeeping legend Sepp Maier.
The first goalkeeping gloves in history quickly became a legend when Germany won the World Cup just one year later, marking a milestone for Maier and a major breakthrough for Reusch.
Close co-operation with sports professionals is constantly incorporated into the development of new Reusch technologies, and the results are innovative products of uncompromised quality and reliability.
