Greys logo at Gear ZoneMore international hockey players rely on Grays than any other brand. Founded in Cambridge by world rackets champion H.J. Gray over 150 years ago, the company has built a worldwide reputation for its sports equipment.

Now owned and controlled by the fifth generation of the same family, Grays were one of the first brands to launch a composite hockey stick along with their world-renowned wooden sticks, and now offer a complete range of both.

Grays are renowned throughout the world for quality sports equipment, having set the gold standard in the 1960s for hockey sticks which have been the choice of top-class internationals ever since.

Leading the way in innovation in the world of hockey since the inception of the company in the 19th century, Grays have been responsible for a raft of new technology including the introduction of coloured towelling grips, Mulbery Indian heads, and the spliced toe, and launched the first hook, midi and maxi heads.

They were behind the revolutionary reinforced hardwood handles in powerful new sticks for the Astroturf game, and are constantly developing new blade profiles and head shapes in a wide variety of weights and lengths suitable for players of varying abilities.
