Alt-berg is a walking boot manufacturer who still make their walking and adventure travel boots in England, at their factory in north Yorkshire.  

This gives them an ideal testing place to ensure that every style of boot they craft is suitable for the weather and terrain of the UK.  

Alt-Berg also use their 20 years of expertise to create military boots and police footwear.

High on the Swaledale Fells and along the footpaths of the Yorkshire Dales, Altberg walking boot manufacturers started to make their walking and trekking boots over 20 years ago. 

Their aim was to make the best British walking boots for the worst British weather - and the fells and footpaths of Yorkshire proved to be the best testing ground in the world.

Altberg are now world-famous for their range of mountain walking boots, their jungle and military combat boots, and paramedic footwear.
